The Final Countdown!

Here we are, 37 weeks.

I remember looking at the birth calendar, skimming ahead to this time, thinking its sooo far away. Now I am full term and labor could start any day. I am not having any Toni Braxton or Bill Hicks contractions. At least I dont think so. I am still a contraction noob (newbie) that I am not sure what they feel like.

I have my aches and pains but they are so trivial comparatively. I am so blessed that this body was made to have this baby. I have passed all my tests and will have worked up to the very end. Only missing a couple hours here and there. I am very proud.
Ben has been working non stop since March. We both have three day weekends the next two weeks. I think we need it, strike that, I know he needs it.

I went to the doctor on Tuesday. Everything is still coming along nicely. My cervix is beginning to dilate and she is head down and ready move. I am one centimeter or fingertip dilation.
I don't really want to talk about how the doctor came to that conclusion.
The PAIN! THE HORROR.
/end drama

Anywho. We are ready. As ready as we will ever be.
I had a couple very nice but small showers. One was just lunch with a couple ladies and another was from the people I work with. They were both very fun and we got lots of loot.
My office pooled together $250 bucks for a gift card to babies R Us. I have pretty much removed almost everything from my registries.
Thank you for all the gifts. They are so helpful and useful and just plain fun.
Anytime I have a bad day, I just go sit in her room and look at everything.

I cant believe we are going to be parents. It really truly boggles the mind.

My mom made Ollie a treasure box, it is so sweet and pretty but perfect for me as well. I will post pictures of it later along with the Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. She also sent Olivia a letter about how she so wanted those dolls when she was little, wanted them for me when i was little and didn't get them till she was big. She decided they needed a little girl to love them. Luckily for her, we were able to make that wish come true.

Tony and Rose come back from California at the end of May. They have had a very busy and stressful couple of months. We cant wait to see them.

I cant express how I love my parents, in laws and siblings. Seriously, you guys are the bees knees.

On a different note.
Ben and I celebrate our first year anniversary this Sunday. Can you believe it? Seems like we have been married for ever in our hearts, but just seems like yesterday really.

I love you husband, more than I could ever tell you but I hope I show you with my every breath.
I cant wait to see you hold our daughter, I know my heart is going to melt.
