13 Weeks! 27 to go!

OK, 13 weeks. Seems so new still but I feel like I have been pregnant forever! I feel great. I have had a couple emo moments now and then but that's to be expected.
So here's the scoop on today's appointment.

So bean is all normal. The heart rate is good (157) today. All my tests came back A'ok. We are doing the down syndrome test as well, so today was phase 1 of that. They had to measure beans neck and everything looks good there. The cystic fibrosis test was negative and mom is B+ for blood type.

The sac hasn't fully extended the the wall of the uterus yet, so they are having me come back in 2 weeks for another appointment, just to make sure its not constricting the little guy. But the doctor thinks its OK so i think its OK too.

So we get started and beans asleep, upside down. So the ultrasound lady has to jiggle my belly to wake up bean for some movement and repositioning. Bean was NOT having it. I had to roll over a couple times and move around, silly stubborn bean. Then the other doctor lady came in and everything changed. Bean decided it was time for acrobatics! Jumping and kicking and moving and posing. Silly bean.
It was an amazing thing watching bean jump around and move. It is truly awesome and amazing.

Well I probably forgot something but I am anxious to get these posted... so here you go!

The lady doing the ultrasound even said bean was cute! I mean look at the pictures! HELLO! Cuteness.


Anyways. We cant wait to see you bean!

I will do an update for the next appt. but we are going to find out the gender in January!
