The First Week

So after the first pregnancy test, we decided that it wouldn't hurt to take a couple more. So a mad dash to the store for another three pack. Waste of money, sure.... piece of mind? absolutely.

Over the next 24 hours i took the rest of them.

All pregnant... instantly.

This is Misty's complete shock.


So we are pregnant. I have to stop smoking, drinking, doing drugs and eating terrible... Ok actually, i don't really do those things so, easy enough.

Ben is amazingly excited, he already has some adult form of ADD, now he is just crazy baby talk. Its awesome. He is going to be such a great dad.

We have told a few peeps, mostly family. Couple friends and coworkers. A friend I work with brought me in a bunch of pregnancy books, he and his wife just had their 2nd in July. He says they are done and not to give the books back. haha

Its funny, you can tell the people that don't know us very well. They are almost hesitant in congratulating us, and tell us things we already know. Like, when Misty is pregnant she is the boss, when she is pregnant she gets everything she wants, she is supposed to be spoiled and treated like a queen.
You know, things that we just say "well Duh!" wink wink

Ben already treats me like a queen every single day. Now its just a little bit more. As if he could get any sweeter.

I am the luckiest woman, probably like.... ever.
